Win a bespoke swimming hat in our competition
Posted on: 14 February 2018
Swimmers with a flair for design are being encouraged to enter a unique swimming cap competition.
Leisure centre staff at Exe Valley in Tiverton and Lords Meadow in Crediton launched the competition earlier this month, with swimmers being asked to use their artistic talent to create their own swimming hat design.
The competition is being run by Mid Devon Leisure, in conjunction with Speedo, and the lucky winner will have their chosen design printed by Speedo.
The competition is open to all students enrolled on Mid Devon Leisure’s swimming school programme and is free to enter. Everyone who enters will receive a free Mid Devon Leisure/Speedo cap
Haley Walker, Wetside Operations Assistant Manager, said: “Our swim school programme is flourishing and we have more than 2400 students enrolled on our programme with 321 lessons taking place each week. Our swimmers work really hard to progress through the stages and we thought this would be a great way to reward them for their hard work and get them even more involved in the swim school. Someone will end up with a unique swimming cap which we think is a really special prize for a keen swimmer.”
Entry forms are available from Exe Valley Leisure Centre and Lords Meadow Leisure Centre.
Designs and entry forms should be handed into the leisure centre reception before the closing date on 28th February 2018. The winning design will be announced on Friday 16th March 2018.Posted in: Leisure
