Two hours free parking at Cullompton car park

Posted on: 13 November 2015

From 1 December, visitors to Cullompton town centre will be able to park for free for two hours in Station Road car park whilst resurfacing works are being carried out to High Street. This is being offered to compensate for the temporary loss of the free on-street parking bays and because of the ongoing issues caused by the temporary closure of Tiverton Road. Ticket machines will issue a free ticket for two hours which must be clearly displayed. For long stay parking, normal fees will apply.

The two hours free parking will be available until 31 March 2016 and thereafter reviewed dependent on the progress of the works.

This will be in addition to the free parking available at the car park between 8.00am and 6.00pm on dates in December prior to Christmas (see details below):

To enhance trade in the market towns in the run up to Christmas and to support local Christmas programmes, free parking will be available in our long-stay car parks as follows:

Cullompton – Station Road car park (8:00am – 6:00pm)

Saturday 5 December, Sunday 6 December, Saturday 12 December and Saturday 19 December

Crediton – St Saviour’s Way car park (8:00am – 6:00pm)

Saturday 5 December,  Saturday 12 December,  Saturday 19 December and Thursday 24 December

Tiverton – Multi-storey car park (6:00am – 8:00pm)

Saturday 21 November, Saturday 5 December,  Saturday 12 December and  Saturday 19 December

The multi-storey car will also be open on the four Sundays leading up to Christmas, commencing 29 November, with parking charges at the normal rate, eg 5 hours for £1.
