There’s just one day to go before polls open across Mid Devon for the district, town and parish elections.

Polling stations are open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday 2 May 2019 and the full results of the local elections will be known around 4pm on count day, 3 May 2019.

This year we are sharing the results throughout the day on social media. Please follow us on #MidDevonVotes for details about the work in the lead up to the election and for full results throughout the day.

Once the polls close at 10pm, the verification process will take place at Phoenix House, Tiverton ensuring the number of ballot papers in each box matches the number of ballot papers issued.

The next morning (May 3), our counting staff will be at Phoenix House when the counting of votes begins at 9.30am. The first ward result is likely to be declared around 10am with the full council result due in at approximately 4pm.
