Please recycle your Christmas ‘leftovers’

Posted on: 23 December 2015

Following the excesses of Christmas, when we all eat and drink far too much, please remember to put your food waste out for collection in your blue caddy. Also, your Christmas cards and wrapping paper can be put out for collection in your green recycling box.

And, whether you have paid for a garden waste permit or not, we will be offering all households free collection of Christmas trees (with a trunk less than 6 inches in diameter). These should be left at the kerbside on a ‘blue caddy’ or ‘brown bin’ collection day. This will be for January only.

Please continue to recycle to save the planet.
