Lords Meadow Leisure Centre Red Nose Day Challenge

Posted on: 12 February 2015

On Wednesday 11 March, the Fitness Team from Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, Crediton will be putting customers through their paces at a Gladiator Challenge Event in support of Red Nose Day 2015.

A spokesman from the Fitness team said: “Our Emperor has commissioned the preparation of Lords Meadow Leisure Centre’s First Annual Games, commencing Wednesday 11 March at 6pm.

Domina across these lands have been summoned to ensure fit and healthy ‘slaves’ are prepared in advance for this epic event which is open to men and women aged 16 years+

Assign yourself to a seasoned Doctore by purchasing a one-way ticket (£5 in advance/£7.50 on the night – spaces permitting) in the hope of survival and receiving your mark of the brother/sisterhood.

‘Slaves’ will be put to the test through stages of conditioning and elements of combat moves, before the make or break entrance into the coliseum. Your pain is Comic Relief’s gain!”

The challenge event will take place in the main sports hall at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 6pm until 7.30pm on Wednesday 11 March.

Lee Chester, Centre Manager said: “The event is a great opportunity to have lots of fun, keep fit and raise funds for Comic Relief. We welcome donations from anyone wishing to support Comic Relief, whether taking part in the Gladiator event or not, between now and Comic Relief Day on Friday 13 March. ”
