Autumn Gardening Fayre

Posted on: 18 September 2013

Get out your spades and start planting for autumn! Tiverton Pannier Market is hosting a Gardening Fayre, Sunday 29 September, 10 – 2pm. It’s an opportunity for you to talk to the experts and buy your winter plants, bulbs and tools for the season. Obligato (a string quartet) will be entertaining visitors and there will be a range of food stalls offering paella and Thai green curries to tempt you while you look around the stalls!

National Trust gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions at 11am. Come and experience what your local producers have to offer you this autumn. Free entry and free prize draw to all visitors.

Plus for our creative residents, we are running a collage competition asking you to show us what autumn looks like to you? Winners from both categories (under 16 and adults) will be presented with a hamper filled with delicious picnic goodies from award winning traders at Tiverton Market and tickets for a family day out at Knightshayes Court! Closing date for entries is Saturday 28 September 2013 at Tiverton Pannier Market.
