Cullompton Spring Festival – food, craft & music
Posted on: 1 March 2016
The first Cullompton Spring Festival takes place on Saturday 9 April, celebrating street food, live music and hand crafts from around the world and the Culm Valley.
Expect a feast for the stomach and plenty for the eyes and ears; with displays, demonstrations, tastings and entertainment for all the family.
Claire Down, SpringFest Chair, said: “We live in such a superb part of the world where we are fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of local producers selling a tempting array of delicious food and drink, as well as unique and beautiful crafts. Don’t miss out and join in the fun from 8am ‘til late!”
A number of venues are participating, including the Farmers Market, The Bakehouse, The Hayridge, the Community Centre, the Town Hall, China Orchid and Devon Kitchen, putting on activities throughout the day.
This community event has been supported by a number of sponsors, including Cullompton Farmers Market, Mole Valley Farmers, Tesco Cullompton, Upton Barn & Walled Garden, Federation of Small Businesses, Labdons Building Supplies, Devon Kitchen, 3in1 Driving, Graham Sessions Photography, Micheal Speirs Associates, Steve Morris Electrics, Mid Devon District Council, Cullompton Town Council and Devon County Council.
